5S is Japanese method of workplace operations that goes far beyond basic housekeeping. The first part of part of our discussion will be on the 5S methodology: Sort (Seiri 整理), Straighten (Seiton整頓), Shine (Seiso 清掃), Standardize (Seiketsu 清潔) and Sustain (Shitsuke躾). The second part of our discussion will be an interactive 5S group exercise involving commonly encountered environments. PMBOK versus Six SigmaHow is the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) applied to Six Sigma projects?
